How weekly maintenance works

The usual schedule, how long it lasts, and how to tell when servers are back.

AION 2 Global has a weekly scheduled game-server maintenance. In October 2026 it started on Tuesday at 23:30 PDT, which was Wednesday 08:30 CEST, and every region went down at the same time. Europe leaves summer time a week before the US, so the October 27 (PDT) maintenance starts at 07:30 CET. The countdown below always shows the time in your own timezone.

Maintenance

How long it takes

Recent windows lasted between three and a half and five and a half hours. The October 6 maintenance listed a longer duration for Asia servers than for the other regions, so one region can come back later than the rest.

  • October 6/7: 3 hours 30 minutes (Asia: 5 hours 30 minutes)
  • October 13/14: 4 hours
  • October 20/21: 5 hours 30 minutes

What happens

Login is unavailable for the whole window and you are disconnected when it begins. NC posts a notice beforehand with the start time, duration and affected services, and marks the same notice as completed once servers are back. Platform maintenance, such as account registration work, can happen separately without taking game servers down.

After maintenance

Patch notes for the week are usually published alongside the maintenance. Server transfer rounds and weekly event limits also reset around these windows, so check the news page after servers return.
