Into the Abyss: Lower Reshanta basics
What the Abyss is in AION 2 Global, who you meet there, and what NC has changed recently.
The Abyss is the shared space where Elyos and Asmodians meet. In AION 2 Global the open layer is Chaotic Lower Reshanta, which NC's notices also call the Lower Abyss. The enemies you meet there come from the opposing server paired with yours.
Getting in
Community guides put the entry requirement at level 45, the Global level cap. Abyss time is tracked per character: NC's server-transfer notes mention "Abyss Usage Time", Spacetime Rift time and Abyss Corridor usage carrying over with a character.
Recent changes from NC
The October 20/21 patch made the Abyss larger and tougher:
- More players can enter the Abyss at once
- The Dimensional Core in the Lower Abyss has more HP
- All bosses that spawn in the Abyss have more HP
- The Abyss bosses Kaira and Argo have slightly larger hitboxes
